I had tiny spiders all over me! April 12th, 2011
There’s nothing more annoying than a roach scurrying across the floor, or an army of ants invading the pantry, or a swarm of mosquitoes chomping on everyone at your Barbecue. That is why, when we get annoyed over situations or people that pester and infest our mental space, we say that something or someone is really “bugging” us. This is also when these little suckers will creep and crawl into our dreams.
This morning I was a guest on 95.5 WIFC in Wausau, WI with Dave and Stacy when a listener called in complaining about the spiders that had infested her dream. Listen to the audio below and find out what shocking situation caused this dream. I’ll tell you, it started quite the discussion!
It occurred to me after the call, that the sidewalk in the dream is connected to how Tiffany has been “side” stepping the issue. What do you think Tiffany should do? Do you agree with Stacy and Dave? Has anything like this ever happened to you?
Whether it is a problem with your relationships, your career, your self image, your finances, your dreams hold all the answers! My latest book Dream On It will help you to understand your dreams like never before! When you can understand your dreams, you can make huge, positive and lasting changes in your life.
“I found myself unable to put this book down. After reading “Dream On It”, I feel more in the know. I feel I have a better understanding of what I had no understanding of. It’s nice to know that there truly is meaning behind what our brain is showing us when we sleep. I suggest reading this book… not just once, but twice at least. A great reference tool! I have all of Lauri’s books. This is by far my favorite!” – Treena Seabolt
Along came a spider… November 19th, 2010
There’s nothing more annoying than a roach scurrying across the floor, or an army of ants invading the pantry, or a swarm of mosquitoes chomping on everyone at your Barbecue. That is why, when we get annoyed over situations or people that pester and infest our mental space, we say that something or someone is really “bugging” us. This is also when these little suckers will creep and crawl into our dreams.
The type of bug in your dream is also important as it will give you even more information as to what or whom is bugging you in real life. Spiders are one of the more common bugs we will find in our dream scape. Read on to find out why. This is from my nationally syndicated column, The Dream Zone…
Dear Lauri: In the corner of a cardboard box was an enormous spider the size of my hand. I tried to kill it with one of those liquidizing wands. I tried about three times to kill the spider. As hard as I tried the spider was not in the least hurt nor threatened. It didn’t run away it just stood its ground and never moved. – Greer 61, Surrey, England
Lauri: When bugs infest our dreams, it’s a good indication that something or someone is really bugging us in waking life. Spiders in particular often are connected to deceit, a web of lies woven by someone around you. It is significant that you associated the spider with the size of your hand. This is the way your dream is trying to show you that this situation is absolutely something you can “handle.” The fact that you tried three times to kill the spider suggests that in waking life you attempted to put an end to this situation to no avail. Who has stood their ground with you? The cardboard box is important. A lot of times, when we dream of card board it is connected to money issues. It could also be related to you needing “to move” on (as we use card board boxes to pack and move) from this person or situation. It seems the message is change your tactics or move on, otherwise things will never change.
Greer replies: I think you have just about got it right. I was in a job situation where a colleague was on my case, no matter what I did or said would budge him. One time he even shoulder butted me. I am in the process of moving house, now that I have lost my job, I can’t afford to live at my present location in London. You are quite right. I know I have to alter my strategy and move on.
Your dreams don’t have to bug you anymore! Imagine being able to easily figure them out every single morning! Figuring out your dreams is not only fun, it provides you with priceless information and advice you need for your life.
Grab yourself a copy of one of my books and you’ll easily understand your dreams every morning and get a HUGE edge in life.
“Wow, what an amazing book so full of information! I will def be keeping this one on my nightstand and refer to it often!” – Kristi Roach, Angola, IN
Enchanting spiders October 17th, 2009
Do bugs ever creep and crawl into your dreams? What about spiders? Spiders seem to be the most commonly reported bug that infests our collective dreamscape. The only spiders I have ever dreamt about were taratulas. I used to have one as a pet. His name was Meatloaf! I miss Meatloaf. sigh.
Anyhoo… for most people, when a spider comes in their dream it is a warning sign they are sending themselves. Listen to the audio below to find out what that warning is. This audio is from when I was a guest on The Coast Morning Show with Bill and Amy on KSTT in San Luis Obispo, CA.
What about you? What bugs infest your dreams?
Don’t let your dreams frighten you! Let them enlighten you!! Grab yourself a copy of one of my books and you’ll easily understand your dreams every morning and get a HUGE edge in life.

The truth about violent dreams May 1st, 2009
This is a pretty funny video my brother forwarded to me about violent dreams. In the video the “In The Know” panelists discuss whether seeing images of dead babies and bludgeoned prostitutes in our sleep is desensitizing Americans to violence.
Go ahead and give it a watch, and then I’ll tell you what violent dreams are REALLY about. By the way, the F bomb is dropped in this video so be careful if you’re at work or around children…
The truth about violent dreams is this… the longer you ignore or mis-handle an issue that needs correcting, the more violent and hostile your dreams will become, until they reach nightmare status! You can go about your day denying there is a problem or simply ignoring it in hopes that it will go away, but at night when you sleep, your issue rises to the surface and your dreaming mind forces you to deal with it.
Let’s touch on the dreams in the video.
Dismembered limbs – Something or someone has been or needs to be severed from your life. The anxiety that causes this dream is from your pain over the separation. Either something or someone has left your life that you wanted to hold onto or you know a separation needs to happen but you are afraid to act on it.
Dead babies – A terrible image but an important one. A project, a relationship, something that you cared about that was just getting started has suddenly ended. Your dream is trying to show you this isn’t something you can revive so you are best moving on.
Murder - A need to forcibly put an end to something in your life such as a bad relationship, an addiction, a bad behavior, an issue that is not good for you OR a desire to change something about someone around you. OJ Simpson had recurring dreams of murdering Nicole before he finally acted on it. Unfortunately he took the dreams literally when his dreaming mind was probably only urging him to kill off his obsession with her.
Spiders – Bugs in dreams mean something is bugging you. Spiders in particular often point to deceit, a web of lies! Is someone around you not being honest with you? Or are you the one not telling the truth?
What can you do to reduce the level of violence in your dreams?
The dreaming mind is brutally honest and does not tolerate complacency! So the next time you get a dream full of blood, dismembered body parts or murderous rampages, you need to pinpoint what’s been troubling you lately and realize it is high time you be honest with yourself about the situation and do what you need to do to nip it in the bud so you don’t end up like the poor sleep deprived woman in the video above!
There are over 1000 dream symbols explained in my book Cracking The Dream Code. No need to let those troublesome dreams bother you again! When you can understand your dreams, you can change your life!
“Your books have made a huge difference in my life. Because of your books, I am more aware and open to my dreams and translating them is starting to seem effortless. Thank you!” – Victoria, Las Vegas, NV
