This is the first time I visited your blog because I wanted to hear the clip entitled "Rhianna,Are You Listening?" WOW! I was in an abusive marriage for 15 years. I've am divorced (3 years ago) and have started a new life with a wonderful man. I did not really see the abuse until I got into a healthy, happy relationship. But, I have a recurring dream of losing my car in a parking garage. Or my car won't start in the parking garage. Or my car is frozen solid in a mall parking lot. Or people are chasing me or blockig me in. The point is, I'm stuck and I can't get out. I wake up in a total panic. I knew this was related to my ex, but until I heard this clip, I wasn't realizing just how deep the hurt and scars go. I hope your other listener gets help. I myself have suffered for years with night terrors ( hynogogia, to be precise ). The thought of trying to get to sleep, but feeling paralyzed for 5 to 6 seconds, was, an is " DISMAL, " to say the least. But through the years, I had to find something, some way, to get into bed, without that hurtful dread. So, I experimented, to make a long story short, I found the missing key, an it was " SOUND! " I had a stint with cotton balls, but they weren't strong enough to keep the voices and sounds out of my eardrums or I guess my mind. So, I gradutated up to earplugs in the night, an I'll tell you right now, Lauri, I found the cure! Now I'm not sure if it works for everyone, but it sure worked for me. All I did was plug my ears every night before I would lay down for sleep an incredibly, I had no Sleep Paralysis, whatsoever. My question for you is, can you give it a shot and spread the word, that this might just work and if it does that we may have found a cure. In hopes you do, you'd be helping out the masses an I'd be in your debt. Test it out, what could it hurt? I dream of my ex-husband all the time as a stand-in for any man i'm close to or intimate with.
